Research interest 

I'm a Brazilian biologist passionate about the marine environment and the evolution that happens in it. My research experience includes using ecological models to understand environmental changes over time, raising hypotheses on how such changes impact the evolutionary history of fish, and testing those hypotheses with genetic data. More broadly, my research interests revolve around finding effective ways to translate genetic and ecological information for the conservation of biodiversity and the sustainable use of natural resources.
