Research interest
I am a biologist interested in the intersection between animal behavior and evolutionary genetics. My research focuses on understanding the effect of gene flow and hybridization in reproductive isolation and how this in turn affects the process of species formation, using grasshoppers as a model organism. My main curiosities lie in learning more about how and why animals interact with others and the environment, and what are the genetic bases of those behaviors. Currently, I am a PhD student based in Munich.
