Research Interests
I am a marine biologist whose main interest is cetacean conservation and evolution. I use genomic data to reconstruct the evolutionary history of lineages and populations, and to understand how environmental change, historical events, and diversification processes have shaped present-day patterns of diversity and distribution. By integrating genomics, morphology, and ecology, I investigate how distinct lineages have evolved in space and time. My core objective is to translate these findings into conservation action.
